Hi..... Consider the following verses so you can understand better the nature of the fallen earth, sin, and “the field”.....
Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For he “has put everything under his feet.” Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all (1Cor.15:24-28).
“...You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honor and put everything under his feet.”
In putting everything under him, God left nothing that is not subject to him. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to him (Heb.2:7-8).
Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” (Rev11:15).
As you can see, the Kingdom is not limited by “the Church” in this present age. So, the fact that the kingdoms are currently being subjected and merged into the One is entirely consistent with the fact that SIN MUST BE PURGED FROM THE CHURCH, BY CLEAR, DIRECT COMMAND. Anything less is, of course, blatant disobedience and excuse-making compromise.
Now, are there some who will gradually make their decisions to live for corrupted flesh, and like Jezebel be “given a space of time to repent”? Of course. Life is a journey, and some who are weak will later CHOOSE to be rebellious, and therefore are not “leaven” until later on. No one has “leaven” etched on their backs in permanent ink from the day they’re born. People make choices, for good or for bad, as time progresses. Some, “without the slightest qualm” eat at the “Love Feasts,” but “blackest darkness is reserved for them,” and “their going out proved they were never among us.” “Like Jannes and Jambres, their folly became evident to all.”
False apostles, false teachers, leaven—all of it must be dealt with as each makes his or her choices to use their “space of time” (like Jezebel) to repent, or not to repent. It is a process that takes RELATIONSHIP and ongoing “admonishing one another daily, so that NONE are hardened and deceived by sin.” Without this interaction around the Word of God and motives of the heart on a DAILY basis—you, me, and anyone and everyone will be deceived into thinking we know something and are something (“We’re the exception”), and hardened to have little fear of God or any meaningful conscience about our sins. Our weaknesses will often (according to this verse) turn into rebellion without daily input from other saints, and our sins will be deepened and ruin our lives, robbing our lives and hurting others rather than Healed as they might have been (Mat.16:18).
For His Sake,
