Charismatic religion leverages with "Gawd told meee.." which gives no one a choice to decide. Keep it simple and speak plainly from the heart - the responsibility is then on the hearer. The highest ground is appealing to people on the basis of heart and light and love. If the sheep know the Shepherd’s voice, they will know it’s of God.
