It kind of seems like God’s already established a line of thought of what He wants us to ponder for the evening. And it’s very much in parallel with something that I was given to read. That last song, “I will be found by those that search for Me with all their heart”--that’s a promise. It comes from a God who doesn’t and can’t lie. If we have somehow reached a conclusion that we’ve not really found Him in great measure, surely we can trace that easily back to the fact that there is a part of our heart that we have held onto. There is something inside of us that we just haven’t wanted to let go of. Maybe our pride, our selfishness, our laziness, or our plans for ourselves or whatever it may be. But, if we haven’t really found Him in the measure that He desires, surely we can trace it back--knowing that God cannot lie--to the fact that we’ve held out on God. There’s a part of our heart that we have held onto and greedily withheld from God because of our fear, or selfishness, pride, we’re too lazy to really push on into it, or whatever it may be. But the promise stands: “I’ll be found in a miraculous, spectacular way by those that will search for Me with all of their heart. Not just as a part time adventure, but their whole heart.”

Holy Love

Many waters cannot quench Your love

Rivers cannot overwhelm it

Oceans of fear

Cannot conceal Your love for me

Many waters cannot quench Your love

Rivers cannot overwhelm it

Oceans of fear

Cannot conceal Your love for me

Your love for me

Holy Love

Flow in me

Fill me up

Like the deepest sea

Like a crashing wave

pouring over me

Holy Love

Flow in me
