I Need Help

...My time away from home has done nothing but made me wish I had never gone in the first place. I wasn’t really an example of Jesus while I was there. I went back and forth over not being bound, and all things being lawful (since we just came out of a very legalistic church), and yet knowing that what I was tempted to do wasn’t pleasing or glorifying to Jesus in the least. And I kept hearing (from the Spirit, I am sure), “He who knows to do good and does it not, to him it is sin.” So I sinned. And I know that “if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness,” but for some reason, I don’t feel forgiven. I sinned willfully. There remains no more sacrifice for sin in such a case. I am so desperately sad that I offended my Lord this way.

I’m lost, and I really don’t know what to do. I feel so bad, that I can’t pray, can’t seek the Lord’s face at all. I’m desperate. Please help?

OF COURSE I’m not saying “sin is okay”.... But I AM saying, we “enter BOLDLY by the BLOOD,” and “HE is able to complete what He began” and to “present you SPOTLESS before His glorious Throne.”

Do you BELIEVE that? CHOOSE to accept that as a FACT and get the “feelings” out of it. Once you’ve SETTLED that with Father, then read on. No, don’t go on yet! Read the previous paragraph five more times, with your HEART. Settle it. Settle it. Face it. Remember. Remember. Apply.... ABBA IS GOOD! Got it? All the way through and through? Got it? Don’t go on until you are SURE that Abba loves you. You’re His baby. “...they shall be white as snow.”

NEXT, learn from the mistake, and push it in satan’s face. For example, “the CHURCH (the Living Body of Jesus, intertwined in Him and one another) is THE PILLAR AND FOUNDATION OF TRUTH.” Remember that Scripture? That means that ODDS ARE HIGH that you could have found the discernment and strength you needed if you had BUILT WELL. You didn’t. You went alone on your trip. AHA! We’ve learned something! We’ve learned that “the gates of Hell” cannot prevail against THE BODY OF CHRIST, working Together. Satan HATES what you’ve learned. YOU should rejoice in THAT! The walk of a disciple is the walk of LEARNING, not earning.

You’ve got a few billion years to work it all out and get the Training under your belt. So, LEARN... and be grateful.
