IN the world, but not OF it

A response based on a question about moving locations and what to watch for…

Hey, as far as the thought of a “move”….just try to avoid the “commune” concept that is SO prevalent in these days. By that I mean, don’t ever let anyone talk you into moving “away” from the rest of the world to a little cloistered area where there are no others nearby. “A farm out in the middle of nowhere, where we can all subdivide the property and Christians can live together and share the land -- away from the big, bad world” SOUNDS so “spiritual” -- but it wreaks. The MASTER said, “IN the world, but not OF it.” The MASTER said, “THIS is HOW all men will know you are MINE: You will love on one another IN THEIR VIEWING.” See what I mean? We have 100 or so Saints in my neighborhood, most of which live next door to next door to next door to across the street to sharing back yards to……. but there are a THOUSAND unBelievers in our neighborhood, too! Anyway, not certain what the “concept” is, or what they are planning to do there, and therefore not certain that the above applies in this situation, but I ramble for free, too. :) In addition, NEVER live in SUPER close proximity to anyone (meaning NOT next door, but maybe a block away at the closest -- perhaps still walking distance) if there is insufficient previous relationship to know who a person or persons REALLY are. DO they REALLY love the Light, “and so are Saved”? Are they really desirous of daily “get the leaven out of the Batch” as Father Commands? (“Leaven” are those who do not LOVE the Light, and are unwilling to pay the price to Change and please Him -- the Pearl is more than they will spend due to their self-love and laziness and pride -- though they may talk a good game and “sound” spiritual to the undiscerning and Passion-less.) It will only yield heartache, eventually, if they do not Build God’s Way.
