Side With the Holy Spirit

“Side with the Holy Spirit against yourself.”

12/22/2024

From someone who played on the edges with a hard heart and ugly life inside for years, and then was Reborn forever...

“Today if you hear his voice don’t harden your heart” is a command that humans can obey, they have that much “control” of their attitudes and thoughts and temptations, obviously, or it couldn’t be a Command. Cornelius made choices, and dying to self is a choice.

At the same time, for me, I could never have found salvation apart from God even showing me I was guilty and blind. “But I don’t feeeel guilty” was me and would have been right into hell if not for the Holy Spirit convicting of sin, righteousness and judgement to come. It’s so all Him, lest any man boast. But there is a part we play for sure. We demand of ourselves we be in the “mind ecosystem” and CHOOSE to “Side with the Holy Spirit against yourself” and agree with the truth before you feel it or see it. HE is God, I am not and cannot be. I side with Him BEFORE the scales fall off.

Side with the Holy Spirit against your pride. I did that. And it was the hardest thing I have ever done. Oh the courage it took to come into the light, even with myself. That was taking the kingdom by force for me. Like running full blast into the end of a spear. Death. Suicide. And then resurrection. But death to pride and a tenacity for truth, to be real. You will know the real monster that’s me! Impalement. I’m done pretending and trying to hide it in the closet.

Crying out to Him is admitting the obvious, agreeing we have need. The sick need the Doctor, and He forces himself on no one.

“Come to the Feast.” It’s voluntary and we will hear the invitation only as we present ourselves to agree with all the Spirit. That’s faith, and “He COULD NOT do miracles because they had so little faith.” Faith says “you are right and I am wrong.”

“Come to the Feast.” It’s voluntary. But He even says “Please”...

It Starts because He wants it for us—even more than we want it for ourselves.
