Who Else but Our Jesus?

Who else but our Jesus can show you the heights of beauty of His character, compare your nothingness to it, and then say: “don’t worry, I’ve made a Plan: you will make it!!” ?

I’m not despairing

when I see I could be much better faring

but I do look forward with much anticipation

from the old me full emancipation

to be melted into ALL You prove to be

to live in the land that from far you’ve let me see.

I am assured of You right here

You hold me, pledge unfailing care,

to make me ALL that You are,

no matter how of distant, how far.

I see the beautiful road, I know that it’s You

who in others shines through.

Your loving and caring personality

washes feet despite hatred and apathy.

Rejection will not make You change Your mind,

indeed, Father also means for some response to be kind,

those who appreciate deeply, gratitude overflowing,

for all You have done, knowing that forever they are owing.

Indebted for ever and ever and ever to Jesus and Jesus in His people

(and not trying to get out of it : ) )
