What are Gifts?
Borrowed pieces of Jesus.
On loan from God.

Useful to the Purposes of God, if worn well.
But no big deal to those who have Gifts (everyone Saved) and to those who See God and the world properly.

There can be no human ownership or pride or rights or identity.

What do you have that was not given to you? (1 Corinthians 4:7)

Borrowed pieces of Jesus,

On loan from God above.

Talents, skills, and graces,

Bestowed with divine love.

Purpose and Perspective

Useful in God’s grand design,

When worn with humble heart.

Yet to the saved, a gentle sign,

Of grace, not set apart.

No room for pride or ownership,

In these celestial loans.

For every gift, both great and small,

To God’s glory alone.

A Humble Reflection

What do we have that’s truly ours?

Not earned, but freely given.

These gifts, like raindrops from the clouds,

Are blessings sent from Heaven.

So let us use them faithfully,

With gratitude and care.

Remembering always, day by day,

God’s love beyond compare.

What are gifts, but borrowed light?

Reflections of His grace.

Entrusted to us for a time,

To shine in every place.
