Before the Throne of God
8/19/2021
Good morning, I sent this to people here and I wanted to send to you: Still groggy, this morning it hit me. I realized that I’m not just on my knees in my room, I am before the Throne of God joining in with the angels who are continually, joyfully worshiping Him. This might be the beginning of a new day for me, but I’m not starting anything, I am joining in with the angels in praising and honoring the Lamb, the King on the Throne, Who is my Redeemer, Lover of our soul, merciful, powerful Lord, Bridegroom. What a privilege to join in. What an honor to be before the Throne of Grace before my Father and Jesus, King and Lord, Who sees, hears, and loves. He is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. It is no small thing to bring our requests for others here and around the world to the King on the Throne. Jesus, the Lamb Who shed His blood for us, also shed His blood for the people of other nations and He cares about them. I/we know this but never want to forget that when we choose to draw near to God (James 4:8) here is where we are:
Hebrews 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly…”
Revelation 5:11 Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. 12 In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” 13 Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!” 14 The four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped.
