Do You Believe in the Supernatural?

2/19/2022

speech bubble representing person 1 talking Do you believe in the supernatural? Yes? What, like healing? Okay. True. What else? Like divine opportunities, and conversion and changed lives? Of course. Absolutely. And supernatural wisdom that “comes out of nowhere” straight from God? Definitely. What else? Those are easy. Those who need this the MOST are least likely to be able to answer, “What ELSE is supernatural—and should be Seen and felt that way?”

speech bubble representing person 2 talking Two that come to mind:

1) Ekklesia: Walls of protection, Wisdom in the multitude, not being hardened and deceived by sin, Pillar and foundation of Truth

2) Anointed Gifting

speech bubble representing person 3 talking True Hope is supernatural. The expectation and anticipation of what God can, and will do, despite all we see crumbling down around us.

speech bubble representing person 4 talking The supernatural result of choices to love Light or cling to shadows and darkness. The smallest choice towards Softness and Yieldedness brings immediate Supernatural change and hope. The opposite also happens when choosing hardness... confusion, frustration, hopelessness... or absolute numbness and disregard.

speech bubble representing person 5 talking A powerful delusion and believing the lie.

speech bubble representing person 6 talking The True Love we have for each other despite difficulties and differences in wiring and all the things that separate those in the world.

speech bubble representing person 7 talking Every breath, every heartbeat.

speech bubble representing person 8 talkingThis is so True and so Amazing. When you have experienced the “other side” of how people tear each other to pieces... And what they call “love” that is so NOT love… and then you see the little things that bloom and flower among those who are His every day. Ohhhh, that is surely SUPERnatural.

speech bubble representing person 5 talking Yes, Agape love not based on performance! Stubborn love. My little brain can’t fathom why y’all love me!

speech bubble representing person 9 talking Being enabled to feel the pain of sin seems like a supernatural blessing.

speech bubble representing person 2 talking Circumstances designed and orchestrated and hand-tailored by God for our training are supernatural. And discipline, showing we are His children.

speech bubble representing person 10 talking Faith: defining things as God does—and living by those definitions even through training or the facing of giants.

speech bubble representing person 11 talking A peace that “transcends understanding” in the midst of the most difficult times (even though you know how weak you feel). When we abandon all to Him, He truly provides unending peace. Not because the pain went away, but because He is holding you tight.

speech bubble representing person 4 talking Supernatural is knowing, REALLY KNOWING, that He is Working ALL THINGS together for our Good and His Purposes! As well as seeing His Hand in it all, and embracing it, and going with its Current and Flow... vs. fighting Him and questioning Him.

speech bubble representing person 12 talking Even a simple but profound HUNGER—for God, for Holiness, and a closer walk with Jesus... that Hunger is clearly supernatural and a Gift.

speech bubble representing person 13 talking Faith! Despite failure, the world around us, and what we can see—yet we cling to one thing, Jesus’ blood. It seems that there is such a thin line between that, and seeing it all as gibberish and living by my mind. But... yet for the supernatural grace to see!

speech bubble representing person 14 talking 1) Prayer—conversing with Father, the Holy Spirit, Jesus
2) Ability to love—true agape of each other
3) Making decisions about where to go and what to do in a day
4) The amount of sleep or energy in a day—God supplies, if I choose to see it through His Perspective (Supernatural vs. natural/earth rules)
5) Making sure that Seeking first the Kingdom is a priority instead of getting “things” done or “accomplished,” then all these things will be added—Supernatural

speech bubble representing person 9 talking Being physically alive and allowed to make decisions that will affect eternity is supernatural. When I’ve felt very bad about myself, I’ve been encouraged by the proverb “Better a live dog than a dead lion.” There’s still time right now to make eternal choices.

speech bubble representing person 4 talking The powerful effect of His Word... truly sharper than any two-edged sword... I’ve been looking at “With You Now” for the last 30 minutes, and it is amazing to think what His Word can and will do in the hearts of those all over the planet who are receiving it with hunger and obedience.

speech bubble representing person 10 talking Our words and speech are supernatural, capable of tearing down or building up, and full of Him.

speech bubble representing person 4 talking Vision is supernatural... seeing the Eternal, seeing Reality, and choosing to walk in those rather than what the seen world is screaming in our ears and flashing in our eyes. Calling that which is not as though it is.

speech bubble representing person 15 talkingThe ability to “See through the glass

speech bubble representing person 16 talking Authority.

speech bubble representing person 17 talking The perspective to see the “small choices” (“he who gives one of my followers even a cup of water will not lose his reward“) as just as supernatural as the miraculous healing. Faithfulness and passion for the Unseen today, in all the most “everyday events” or everyday challenges, isn’t less supernatural and important just because today no one else notices.

speech bubble representing person 2 talking It seems as if (unless we choose to walk in the flesh and temporary stuff) that ALL of life is completely revolving around and immersed in and affected by the supernatural. If the Spirit of GOD lives inside a person, how can THAT not be supernatural—except when quenched by sin and flesh?

speech bubble representing person 18 talkingWhat comes to mind (even without a thorough experience of it): If this is all the “matrix,” then what is supernatural is all that is behind the coding—all that doesn’t end when the code crashes (before the second death). Everything eternal is supernatural. That which is not supernatural is still entirely governed by it, even if seemingly predictable in the absence of “glitches.” Through second birth we have a deposit of God’s own Spirit into/with our own, and their intertwining relate to Jesus’ words about worshipping in Spirit and living in the Spirit, “I in you, you in me, they in me, you in them”

speech bubble representing person 19 talkingI was thinking about the Matrix analogy too and part of the “changed lives” is victory over the power of sin in our lives... specific sin, specific addictions... gone.

Seated with Him in heavenly realms with His blood cleansing us and recreating us into His image.

Made perfect, being made holy…has to be Supernatural!

speech bubble representing person 6 talkingAlong the lines of what’s been said - I keep thinking of “Seeing with Heaven’s eyes” as the Bible stories remind us about those who went before us and when we are Seeing with those eyes and not our flesh everything is supernatural.

speech bubble representing person 3 talkingI keep going back to: “What’s your currency?” Every single life decision (deed, thought, word) can be a supernatural transaction or a perfectly natural, earthy one. Which realm am I most consumed with? “What’s your currency?” All transactions can be Supernatural ones!! Jesus made a way for it to be so!

speech bubble representing person 4 talkingTo echo what was said above... Each of our lives together CAN ALL BE SUPERNATURAL. In Him we live and move and have our being. In Him we fight this war together. Below are words to a famous speech, added/changed for Whose we are ....

You expect of me a speech.

I have only one to give.

And it is the same one I’d give

were we not standing

on the brim of a battlefield.

It is the same one I’d give

were we to meet in the street

by chance.

I have ever only hoped

for ONE THING.

To see His Kingdom united

(one heart, one mind,

walking in step

with the Spirit)

under Christ’s royal crown.

All men are born to die,

we know it.

We carry it with us always.

If your day be today,

then so be it.

Mine will be tomorrow.

Or mine today

and yours tomorrow.

It matters not.

What matters is that you know

in your hearts

that today YOU are

that Kingdom united.

You are God’s Supernatural Reign.

Each and every one of you.

His Kingdom IS YOU.

And it is the space

between you...

Fight NOT for yourselves,

Fight for that space.

FILL that space...

Make it tissue!

Make it mass!

Make it impenetrable!

Make it yours.

Make it Father’s Country.

Make it Father’s House.

Let the weak say,

“I am strong!”

Great men to it!
