Bring no Diseased Animals

"Come out from among them and be Separate, saith the Lord"

Related to the “Marine Boot Camp” quotes…. I heard an interview today on NPR of Benazir Bhuto’s 2nd cousin, and they were asking him why, when she knew her life was in danger, she continued to live in Pakistan and campaign out in the open among the people.

He said something like, ‘I’ve had that conversation with her so many times over the years. I said, “You’re young, you’re beautiful, you have a nice family. Why don’t you go live somewhere else and have a wonderful life?” She told me that her country came first to her, and her goal of bringing democracy to Pakistan was more important to her than anything else. Her family understood that, and she believed that she was in God’s hands.’

It’s funny how if you are TOTALLY COMMITTED to something as temporal and unimportant as a political system, or a geographical area, or the military, you can be considered a “hero,” but if you show the same kind of commitment to Jesus Christ you are in a cult.

In fact, if you are LESS than 100% committed to your job when you are in the military or in civil service, you are a coward or a traitor.

But you are *expected* by the world, and by christendumb, to be less than 100% committed to Jesus, or you’re in a cult for sure.

“When you bring blind animals for sacrifice, is that not wrong? When you sacrifice crippled or diseased animals, is that not wrong? Try offering them to your governor! Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept you?” says the LORD Almighty.” (Mal 1:8 NIV)
