If you could help someone overcome a problem and didn’t make the effort, wouldn’t that be disappointing? If you could protect someone from harm and didn’t act on it, wouldn’t that be sad? If you could help someone overcome sin, if you could save someone’s life, if you could see them filled with happiness... and didn’t do it, wouldn’t that be a shame?
