How Can We NOT Be CERTAIN?!
9/30/2021
“Faith is being sure of what we Hope for and certain of what we do not see.” Heb. 11:1
What ARE you SURE of? What ARE you certain of? How can we know what our physical eyes may not have yet seen?
Are footprints on a beach reason for certainty that someone walked that way, or would you doubt? Is a familiar smell of someone we have spent much time with, or a well-known intimate voice from the next room — are these enough to be CERTAIN and SURE that someOne exists, raised from the dead, seated at ABBA’s side, with us and in us by His Spirit?
I, for one, am CERTAIN and SURE - and have had no doubts for a single moment in 40+ years, through any number of ups and downs, successes and failures, joys and sadness.
I am CERTAIN. I am SURE.
And you?
