A Spur Towards Clear and Passionate Prayer

If there were 100 people in the world better than you at talking to Jesus about people and situations and opportunities, would you be OK with that? What if there were 10,000? What if there were one million better than you at talking to Jesus about people and situations and opportunities? Would you be OK with that? Where is your line?

Are you asking if I’m OK with tolerating low “skill” in my own life, or do you mean OK with it from a competitive standpoint? E.g. I feel embarrassed often in a moment that I lack words or passion that someone else has, but on another level, I really wish there were one million people better than me at really conversing with Jesus.

Are you ok with not praying much or with focus? Or are you passionate about being as Clear and Passionate as you can be? Let’s get us all into the Best 5000?

My personal history on a day-to-day basis would still show much need for much Progress here.

The Spirit within me groaned that I have not cared enough to “work harder than all the rest.” To PRAY more than all the rest. Be more passionate than ALL THE REST!!

Create in me a new heart!
