Come Out From Among Them
8/25/2010
Yes, COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM, TOUCH NO UNCLEAN THING AND I WILL BE YOUR GOD, AND YOU MY PEOPLE.
CONSIDER…
“Without holiness, no one will See the Lord.”
“May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.”
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”
“Therefore come out from them and be separate,” says the Lord. “Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters,” says the Lord Almighty.
Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face. Selah
Does it REALLY make sense to fight against Jesus and His Ways, only to reap the reward of the devil’s anguish and abyss? SURELY it makes more sense to walk in our Messiah and His Truths, trusting the Words of His Life, established as Accurate and Faithful by His Power over Nature, Health, and Death itself! Why trust the slimy words of the serpent of death, filth and flesh—with satan’s empty “promises”? We know where satan’s words lead. And there is NO reason to believe that we can have the Life and Blessings of Jesus’ Kingdom while also thinking we can fellowship with the world, “have our cake and eat it, too.” It can’t and won’t happen. We must CHOOSE. God is HOLY, separate. “Nothing unclean may enter there.” Instead of thinking we can “mix” what we “want” with the promises and blessings of Jesus and His Kingdom, we relinquish ALL to JESUS and the “Splendor of Holiness—Separateness, Otherness”!!!
