Created to Be Givers

“Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest” (Prov. 6:6-8). A wonder and an amazement : ). The Father has designed us with such depth that we need no “overseer or ruler” to know inside of ourselves the need to be productive, and contributors to the whole! We’ve been given “everything that pertains to Life and to Godliness” and KNOW our calling to GIVE and labor for others as part of the corporate Life. And, we’re miserable when we don’t—even mutant! The Call is deep within us that we can and must be Givers, day and night. There is deep joy and satisfaction in this. Even with the ant, God’s thumbprint is so clearly upon him (or her). : ) 2:30 p.m.
