Curling or Hockey?

“A true and worthy saying: While religionists settle for curling, polishing the ice, Jesus brought the world something far more like hockey. ‘Few,’ He said, will wish to play the Real Game.”
A LEADER is DIFFERENT. Whether governance, private sector, or “religion.” While most people settle for posing and the game of “curling”—merely polishing the ice...
LEADERS bring the world something far more like hockey, a team sport with strategy and risk and movement and impact and athleticism and passing lanes, with a GOAL to be accomplished.
In governance, private sector, or religion... The ultimate leader, Jesus, Yezu, Lesu, Yasu Isa al-Masih, said “FEW” (His word) will exert and risk themselves to engage in the Real Game. Attendance, titles, membership, pleasing society, polishing the ice are the politically correct and safer options. Polishing the ice is built to protect the career of the politician or clergyman, and subdue the masses, often while ignoring the application of the actual words of Jesus, the ultimate leader.
“Curling” in business or politics or religion is often, “Just sit and gaze and meditate, drop some money in the bowl, and we’ll see you next week. Don’t stand for anything or do anything different. Status quo and mediocrity keep the world going ‘round.”
But YOU... Play hockey—instead of curling, posing, polishing the ice!
You WILL get metaphorically and verbally “checked into the boards,” smashed, laid out... but, as they say, “WORTH IT!”
EVERYTHING!
Boooo! To curling ;) You can see the difference between “works” and abandonment if you picture it!
And exhort one another daily... There is No such risk in curling.

In curling, the puck never leaves the ice. In hockey, you are almost guaranteed sooner or later to get your teeth broken out by an errant puck. You just accept it as part of the game.
