Draw Near to Behold Him
7/9/1998
“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace which was toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me” (1Cor. 15:10). God’s eternal goal over our lives is to transform us into the image of His Son. This goal is accomplished by spending time beholding the glory of the Lord (2Cor. 3:18). The secret of learning how to behold His glory is simply discovering that we can take the initiative to do it. Jesus’ desire to do His work of transformation over us is the very basis of His heavenly work (Heb. 7:24-25). Nevertheless, He still waits for us to draw near to behold Him in order to accomplish this work. Wouldn’t NOW be a good time to “behold Him??” xoxox 11:10 a.m.
