Fruit of the Spirit: Control of Self

Having the right priorities in life, and a commitment to those priorities, isn't sufficient. In this busy information-age, we must also have enough control of self, by the Spirit, to shut off the thoughts and emotions that drain our energy and focus. If we want to see God's miracles and experience His presence, then we must choose to turn off the seemingly small energy leaks that aren't in line with our priorities and offer them to Him as a gift. We'll be better able to truly Love people and advance His Kingdom and change the universe!
