Gettin' the Same Treatment?

All of christendom loves this verse: “How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!”... But, that’s not the end—of even that verse. The first part of the Verse is only true if the second part is also clearly and obviously true with neighbors, co-workers, pagan “friends and relatives” and the like. Because of HIS Spirit, the second part of the Verse will always be true, if the first part applies to us, or anyone. Who are His sons and daughters, washed in His lavish love? The second half of the Verse: “The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.” Does everyone with something to lose, something to protect, or something to hide… treat you just as they would have treated Him, and did treat Him? Ahhhh! If so, “How great His lavish love is upon you, His children!” It’s HIS Spirit at work within His offspring! Hallelujah! : ) 11:43 a.m.
