Give Away Control of Your Life

Jesus said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must put aside your selfish ambition, shoulder your cross daily, and follow me. If you try to keep your life for yourself, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for me, you will find true life...” (Lk. 9:23-24). Thought: As we are following Jesus, won’t each of us be making specific choices EACH day to give away control of where we are, what we are doing, who we are with, our right to feel a certain way or do a certain thing—all in order to see Jesus’ Life advanced in another?? —bb 3:54 p.m.
