God Comforts Us - IF We Will Take His Hand

After the confrontation between Elijah and the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel, Elijah OUTRAN Ahab’s chariot. (Elijah must have recorded this point of trivia himself, just as Moses did when referring to himself as the most humble man on earth.)

Mount Carmel is located in modern-day Israel, near the Mediterranean Sea. Jezreel, where Elijah ran to was in the Jezreel Valley.

The distance Elijah ran, hard, without Gatorade, from Mount Carmel to Jezreel, is around 20 miles.

GOD NOTICES WHEN WE ARE WORN OUT, and comforts us!—if WE will take His hand.

Even though we speak like this, dear friends, we are convinced of better things in your case—the things that have to do with salvation. God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. Hebrews 6:9-12
