God Doesn't Eat Beef

This is the good news for those who See the planet and human flesh for what it is: there is a solution! His name is Jesus! This is “bad news” for those who want to think about themselves as being “good people” doing “good things” and they want some credit for that. Our best efforts are “filthy rags.” If we accept that, then we can get buried into Jesus, and the problem is solved!

God owns the cattle on 1,000 Hills, but doesn’t eat human food. He doesn’t need it. “Nothing unclean can enter heaven” which means only Jesus can enter heaven. No one can do enough so-called “good things” to overcome the fact that at our roots, we are selfish, foolish people. God is not impressed with our so-called good deeds. God does not eat beef. He owns it but doesn’t need it.

There is nothing good dwelling in the hearts of men that earns God’s respect or attention apart from His Son Jesus. Hiding our life in Jesus makes us “a man or woman after God’s own heart” and good deeds mean nothing to him. “The father loves the Son.” There is no other way, there is no other truth, there is no other life. Only Jesus’ life. The Tree of Life, not the tree of, “Yeah, but I did some good things.” Jesus, the physician, only comes for those who know they are sick. Everyone else is on their own.
