He Is Stable!

A month or more ago, I greeted Abba with, “Good morning! How ARE you?” What I heard back was, “I am FINE.” I was suddenly aware of the incredible range of emotions that our God had experienced since I had laid my head on the pillow the night before, from ecstatic joy over a soul birthed into His Kingdom, to quiet pleasure over a bud blossoming or a baby’s smile, to the heart-wrenching agony of watching one of His Chosen turn away from Him—millions of times over in ONE NIGHT! And yet His answer seemed to be, “I am FINE.” Could such stability be meant for us, too?! I think so! “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and GODLINESS …” (2Pet. 1:3). —pm 1:40 p.m.
