His Pruning Brings Hope

God cuts off the branches that don't bear fruit, but He also prunes the branches that do bear fruit in order that they would be even more fruitful. The only way to experience Divine Life, the only way there is 'going to be a people who do more than borrow His name' is to be willing to be scandalized, to stretch out our hands and be humiliated by the cross and still go on doing good. God's Truth is based on our willingness and ability to walk out the Word of God on a daily basis together in humility, submitting ourselves one to another in the Ecclesia; not by being a student of the word of God, a Greek scholar or based on one's own individual interpretation of truth.
