I wrote this a while ago, but it has been good for me to look at every once in a while and remember to always listen to Jesus. No matter what may seem right, or fair, or logical at the moment, I just want to listen to HIM… love, g : )

His Voice

Tenderly and Softly

Your words come into me

Your whisper so low, so quiet

Is it You?

Your words cleanse the deepest part

They fall like snow on hard and dirty ground

Beautiful, low words

Yet firm and strong

Convincing, compelling, drawing

Enrapturing, mesmerizing

Soft and tender words

What about all the other noises?

Some sound like You

What do I do?

I hear a small, quiet voice

What did You say?

Quietly, clearly, gently

“Just listen to Me.”
