How Can I Know I'm Saved?

The Beauty of His "New Covenant" of His Presence WITHIN His Body and those Saved :)

6/5/2009

I have heard many wonderful things about your church. Although I don’t believe I could live in such a close-knit group, I do applaud you. My question is does a person ever really know 100% that they are saved?

Hi there : ) So, you would have had a problem being part of the ONLY CHURCH ON EARTH in AD 33-40? : ) That’s not “applause-worthy” at all—just basic Christianity when everyone “from the least to the greatest” is wildly in love with JESUS and HE is their reason for living. In such a case, just as the “only church on planet earth in 33-40AD” demonstrates (in the Verse that follows), we live as Jesus did with the Twelve, not surprisingly! : )

They were devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Reverential awe came over everyone, and many wonders and miraculous signs came about by the apostles. ********ALL who believed were together and held everything in common, and they began selling their property and possessions and distributing the proceeds to everyone, as anyone had need. 2:46 Every day they continued to gather together by common consent in the temple courts, breaking bread from house to house, sharing their food with glad and humble hearts**********, praising God and having the good will of all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number every day those who were being saved (Acts 2:42-47).

But, that aside, the “proof” of Salvation is in “the Deposit that guarantees Salvation”—the Gift of the Spirit of the Creator of the Universe, the Person of Jesus Christ, coming to live within “all who Believe” (have given away their life in trust in the Blood and Kingship of Jesus). “Christ IN you, the hope of Glory” is the New Covenant Promise. Acts 2:36-39, Gal.3, Eph.1, Rom.8, etc. So, the “proof” of Salvation is in the Spirit LIVING INSIDE of a person. And then, the SPIRIT describes what THAT Miracle “looks like” if it has, in fact, happened in a person...

It is AMAZING and WONDERFUL that Father has shown such Love and Wisdom—as He knew many would ask a question just like yours! Hope you’re encouraged in the Lamb, the Prince of Peace, Emmanuel. : )
