How to Be Emptied

Born From Above

Our hearts cry, "Abba, Father!" That's what frees us from fear (Romans 8). "Fear not" because it pleases God to give us the Kingdom. God encamps around those who fear HIM! So, reject compromise, wickedness, and shallow and destructive pleasure and you won't have trouble with "fears." Emptying ourselves means choosing to claim no rights, bearing the sins of others, and withstanding insults or injury without retaliation. The true test of a spiritual birth is that all born of the Spirit are like the wind.
