An Invitation Into God's Dream World

“All who make idols will be humiliated and disgraced... I AM Lord, and there is no other!... I, the Lord, speak only what is True and Right... What fools they are who carry around their wooden idols and pray to gods that cannot save! Come, state your proofs that idol worship pays. What idol ever told you what would happen? Was it not I, the Lord? For there is no other God but Me—a just God and a Savior—no, not one! Let all the world look to me for salvation! For I am God; there is no other!” (Isa. 45:16-22).

What if Isaiah were to knock on your door right now and tell you that he had a word from the Lord for you? Since we are not so prone to pray to wooden idols, what kind of application does all this have in our lives today? What if Isaiah gathered God’s People together in one place to say, “Israel, there is One Life and no other! Throw away every dream you have had for your life. Every way that you have ever envisioned your days on earth looking, every desire you have ever had for anything, even those things ‘acceptable’ or ‘good’—throw them away for they are as worthless as a child’s collection of play money. Any dream you have ever had or ever could have burning in your heart is only fake, dead, nothing, meaningless! The only dream that is Real is the one that burns in My Heart. I have called you to participate with Me in My Dream, and if you do, you will LIVE! If you refuse to acknowledge My Dream as the only Real Dream, the only True Way, then you may survive like one passing through the flames with nothing else left, but you will never Know Life or be able to Give Life as I have destined you for. You are Chosen, Called, Set Apart from all the false dreams and lies of this very finite world and invited to forcefully enter into My Dream World that will never end. You must not give your hearts to any other dream or you will be double-minded and unstable. You may not pay tribute to anything that defies My Dream with its system of priorities or values or measurements. You must hold My Dream in your heart as the One True Dream, for in Reality there is NO OTHER!”
