Jehovah Jireh is Not a Vending Machine

1. Do we give our lives away to God the Father, Jesus his Son, and submit to the Anointed-Spirit... so we can “get stuff?” God is a vending machine for us?

2. Do we decide if we will follow Completely Creator Father based on whether or not we might “lose too much?” God is mean and we deserve stuff, so he’s not God if he doesn’t do what I want. I’m god.

3. If he gave me Isaac as a miracle gift, God had better not ever take him away or ask me to raise my sword over him to let go of him. What kind of gift is THAT - that I don’t get to have as long as I want? I don’t even WANT a gift that I can’t control and have. I want to be god, and I’m mad - not grateful! “You tricked me God! I want control!”

4. A helplessly abandoned lover and doulos of the Master of all. I’ve been given way more than I deserve for way longer than I’ve deserved it already. The greatest good and only gift I want is to be near Him. Everything else can come and go as He pleases.
Let it be so.

Maybe You, Jehovah Jireh, Love and Power and Patience personified ARE GOD, EVER TO BE PRAISED, WORTHY OF ALL FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END... and I’ll just bow my knee and my head in gratitude and hush.
