As It Was For Jesus and Luther, So It Is For Us Today

10/31/2000

Four hundred eighty-three years ago today, Martin Luther decided he would not cower under the popularized ubiquitous religion any longer, and posted the “95 Theses” on that door in Wittenburg, Germany. No more indulgent guilt-imposed money for buildings and bank loans. (Leo owed money to German banks, and wanted to build a bigger better building also.) No more religion that wears the Name of Christ that is based on superstition, ritual, clergy, and the culture of the day. That was the hope, though there is more work to do, in our hearts and in our world! Let’s stay on Course, for the Master and Messiah, who faced the same battle in His day! 2:33 p.m.
