Jesus Faces the Storm

They saw something about Him that just amazed them. They saw His wisdom and kindness and patience. They saw a strong leadership. They saw an unwavering character. They saw somebody who could take the pummeling of life and stand with just a little corner of His mouth just smiling in the face of it and courage in His eyes. They wanted to be like Him. They weren’t going anywhere and He didn’t have to threaten them. And He’s not threatening us either. He’s inviting us to see Him for who He reallly is and the amazing qualities and the amazing personality that He has that we would WANT to be with Him. He’s saying “I’ll dazzle you and make you want to come with Me.”
