Letting God Order Our Steps
2/4/2026
Letting God order our steps and priorities rather than inertia from the world, from our jobs, from the little daily “emergencies”—it’s a big deal. Can we try to get a little closer to letting God decide our next step or our next thought? I am wanting that. Maybe you, too?
“Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.” (Psalm 119:133)
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.” (Psalm 37:23)
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
“A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.” (Proverbs 16:9)
“Show me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.” (Psalm 25:4-5)
