Putting Into Practice Jesus' Words NOW!

“When the storms roll in and the waves come up...” (Matt. 7). BE READY! If we are not diligent in acts of selfless service NOW, if we are not devoted in prayer, for focused, consistent blocks of time NOW, if we are not deeply immersed daily in the Words of God NOW, if we do not bridle our wild emotions and hormones NOW, if we won’t restrain our flesh and our tongues NOW, if we won’t look up in faith, love, and courage when pressure comes NOW... we’ll find it quite difficult “when the storms come.” NOW is the time to prepare for the storms that Jesus said WILL come. If we do it Right NOW, we can be part of the Solution, rather than part of the problem... when the storms come! THAT’S the kind of people Jesus is looking for! Pray constantly, Sow the Seed of His Word (reading, cassettes, etc.) constantly, make CHOICES to subdue the flesh and the tongue and the moods and emotions and hormones NOW, and you can be Useful to God and to all to HELP, “when the storms come” ... “for such a time as this!” Father needs all of us—rather than to be part of the problem, to be part of the Solution! Your choices this morning, today, tonight, tomorrow morning... these determine your Place in it all. Jesus wants co-Workers in His Spirit to Help. Count you in? : ) 8:27 a.m.
