Love Not the World
(There are many 'tests' in 1 John, by Design, for our Guidance in this confused and 'religious' world)

“This is how we are sure that we have come to know Him: by keeping His Commandments. The one who says, ‘I have come to know Him,’ without keeping His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in Him... For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world.
“You are from God, little children, and have conquered them—because the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore what they say is from the world, and the world listens to them. We are of God. Anyone who knows God listens to us; anyone who is not of God does not listen to us. From this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of deception.”
