Any Ideas for "Name the New Religion"?
4/7/2010
This is the man, Vice President of the United States, and CLEARLY “a deeply religious man” (notice his forehead from “Ash Wednesday” religious service attendance for proof of his religious commitment to human’s form of “christianity”).

He is now world-famous for his absolutely DISGUSTING words caught on film with President Obama just days after he received this “Ash Wednesday holy mark” (which he wore in public to meetings and press conferences). When celebrating the “health care bill” he clearly said on the microphone one of the most filthy words in the English language. T-shirts have been printed by the tens of thousands with his filthy comment, over-heard by the world. Obama, for his part, when asked about the filthy word, said that he wished he (Obama) had said that. He also claims to be a christian. Most “modern” religious folks thought it was funny, because they themselves use such language, or easily listen to and participate is such foul things without conscience.
Isn’t there “room” to define Christianity PROPERLY—those things that honor Jesus and are like Jesus:
“Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him must himself walk just as He walked.”
Would that be SO bad to define Christianity BIBLICALLY, and then the other “religions” that don’t care about obedience and holiness and love and daily Life—can have some other name, such as Cultural-anity, or something else you could think of? If a person claimed to be Islamic, but didn’t believe in Mohammed, they wouldn’t REALLY be Islamic, would they? There would have to be a different name for it. Why isn’t there a “name” for a religion that will not obey a Teaching of Jesus that is inconvenient or undesirable for them? It’s not Christianity, of course. Everyone has the right to their own “religion” (though only One can Save, according to Jesus). But, to call things Christianity that bear no resemblance to the church of the Bible, or a Christian of the Bible, is silly and dishonoring to Jesus. A Muslim who doesn’t believe in Paradise or Mohammed is not a Muslim. Nor is anyone a Christian or a Church who can disregard the Commands of Jesus and the Scriptures, because it doesn’t fit their desired lifestyle. We need a new name for this innovative religion of independence, materialism, selfishness, and pride. Anyone can choose this religion if they want, but just not call it by Jesus’ name.
“And I also say to you that I will build MY church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”
