Neglect vs. Patience

As we help each other let Jesus express Himself through us more and more until our final day, not everything that could be addressed immediately should be addressed immediately. BUT there is a life and death difference between neglect and patience. Neglect - maybe notices but doesn’t care. Patience - perceives details and cares deeply. Neglect - distracted, oblivious, prayer-less, and forgets. Patience - watches and prays, prays, prays. Neglect - “That’s someone else’s responsibility.” Patience - looks for a front door, window, or back door. Neglect - uses “patience” as an excuse to never lovingly intervene. Patience - Delta-T (Time) is often part of the equation. Neglect - “Who am I to help?” “That’s just who they are.”
