One Minute Race

From a dialogue this morning....

“What if” we chose to live like God does - where there is no “time” by which to measure or compare or fret or scheme? No past to be upset about. No future to try to achieve. What if we only had this minute - and we are only measured by our abandoned unconditional love and obedience? It would be kind of Freeing if we’d actually do that “only this minute - I will explode it with abandoned love and utter obedience because there’s no past to resent and no future to manipulate for or to protect against.”

But who will do that?

Only those who truly want to live with God, in the place He Dwells.

Can I, can we, can you “sustain” such a ONE MINUTE RACE? Do we want to, will we choose to, will we DO it—all out? And what about the next minute, if there IS one?
