Only Messes Need the Savior

God and His Spirit can only work with ONE of these. Which one?

1. I’m fine
2. What about them?
3. I’m only human, big deal
4. It’s not that bad
5. It’s not as bad as
6. That’s just your opinion
7. Get the log out of your own eye
8. I’ve not really thought about it
9. I’ll pray about it, thanks
10. I messed up, ok?
11. I’m messed up

In other words, numbers 1-10 are tree of knowledge: “I’ve got this. I’ll figure it out myself. I have no need of You, or you (all).”

#11 is Tree of Life: “God, thanks for loving and saving a mess like me. Thank you for setting me free from slavery to my mess so I can live and love in Freedom in You! You untangle us as we help untangle each other. You’re the Hero of the messes. Because only the messes need a Savior.”
