Out of My Sight, satan!

“Out of my sight, Satan!” he said. “You do not have in mind the things of God but the things of men.” Mark 8:33

I don’t know, but something about this verse awes me every time i read it. It’s just amazing how deeply in Love the Son was with His Father and the Father with His Son. Jesus saw His Father was of a totally different mind and He wasn’t going to fool around. He knew what He was here on the earth to do and He was not going to play around. He cut the temptation off at once; no dabbling, no second thoughts, no compromise, “Out of my sight, Satan!!” Be gone. This one thing i do. I do it all to the glory of God. That’s what HE was about and that’s what i am going to be about. : )
