Selling Packaged "prayers"!?

Saw a bizarre news story tonight on a religious website (____.com). For a monthly fee they will “say your prayers” for you. You can click protestant, catholic, jew, muslim for the flavor of prayers you want. In the “protestant daily prayer package”…you get 8 prayers in one bundle for only $19.95 per month. By the way, it’s computerized text-to-speech. It’s not even a person praying for you—it’s a computer. It’s a pre-fabricated prayer and your name shows on screen while the “prayer” is spoken by the computer. —Tom 9:19 a.m.
