Play Your Part With All Your Heart

A thought for the day...When satan and the demons were thrown out of Heaven, it was because they wanted to “climb to the highest heavens and be like the Most High.” Satan then offered to Adam and Eve that they “could be as God.” And the antichrist “exalts himself on high against all called God.”... Jude, speaking of the devil and demons (angels that had been thrown out of heaven), described them as those “who had not kept their own original state.” Those “who had not kept their original state.” Those “who had not kept their own original state.”

A thought? The effort to “ascend” and be recognized and be someone that we’re not, is the very oldest—and amongst the most destructive sins on this planet, and in the Heavens themselves. We all need to take joy in the Sovereign part He’s given us to play in the Body of Christ, and in this lifetime—not envying or striving or comparing, ambitious to be viewed as someone or to find meaning in “accomplishing.” Let’s JOYFULLY contribute to the greater whole all that God has Made us and Called US to be!! Everyone is different, and Designed by God for their OWN special role—all different, none less than another (though, as mere men would judge, some may SEEM lesser).

What GOD has made is GOOD! Enjoy your part, and give it all your heart, without envy, striving or comparison! God has given gifts to each of you from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Manage them well, so that God’s generosity can flow through. Are you gifted to teach? Then speak as though God Himself were speaking through you. Are you called to help others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then God will be given glory in everything through Jesus Christ. All glory and power belong to Him forever and ever. Amen.
