Number 7 prerequisite for answered prayers: Ezekiel 14:3, basically it says that unless you remove every idol from your heart, not just your life but also from your heart, your prayers will be hindered and your prayers will go unanswered. It’s possible to put even good things like your children or your wife or your husband or hobbies, things that are generally good and are gifts from God—if you put those things in practical reality before you put your relationship with God, if that dictates what you do rather than your relationship with God—there’s no reason to think that God will hear your prayers.
