Pure For You

Whether meals, projects, sports, education, errands, working, or playing... we have only one job: to be a Priest. And all the rest of those things are simply a Context to do our Priestly work. It has been too easy for me to do all those listed things passively, or worse, with my motor running ABOUT those earthly things... versus being Attentive, Awake, Outward, and Active in my Priestly Work. Jesus deserves my Best Effort. I will give it to Him. The Levites at Sinai and Phinehas near Moab set the standard for a big part of what it means to be a priest. It is a violent job—undergirded with Love, Wisdom, and Righteous Zeal... but such is our Inheritance.

We will be Pure for You.

I was considering this message and the work we MUST do for His Honor... While tears may be shed, we must resolve that we will settle for nothing less than absolute purity in His House and in our own hearts. And may others’ blood NEVER be on my hands because of slothfulness or dullness in my own heart due to worldly, Spiritless living!
