This song “Beth” by Kiss was 50 years ago, now. The year of Jubilee—when slaves and debtors are legally set Free.
When I Heard “this” song by one of my favorite “groups” I wept. But I didn’t know why.
I asked myself...
How is this song “Beth” from this crazy “artist” even possible?
Here’s what I Suddenly knew, even as a youth (who had no idea how or why he had stayed out of jail so many times):
People aren’t always what we “think” they are. What a revelation. It still applies to the Wise and the lovers, those who will spend themselves to build and to change.
Starting from the inside and working outward, in love.
You will recognize the difference if you want to. They have no interest in healing or helping:
The Destroyers and the haters. They don’t care.
What I saw when I was blind, 50 years ago, and was embarrassed in myself that I had not seen it before.
Sometimes pride is insecurity instead.
The music I heard when I was deaf,
the Signal, the Music, through the noise and the static:
Look a little deeper.
Sometimes a “plastic hippie” is really someone who has been abused at home and is “rebelling” as a protection mechanism.
Sometimes a five-year-old “hater in training” is just trying to survive a terrible, empty, loud, dangerous home life.
Expand the story in your own experiences and observations, on the streets, and highways and byWays.
Will we be fearful or pompous critics, insatiable haters, puppets of “the hater” who is “enraged” because his time is short?
Lucifer-Enraged?...
Or “The Beloved One” Engaged?
We can instead be wound-healers, because we are also wounded-healers?
It’s not that hard to see the difference between those two things...
if we actually want to see the Difference.
“Re-Mastered” means Everything.
“Lukewarmness” and “normal,” world religion... are not coming back.
Jesus is.
West or East, atheism, or Hindu, or Muslim, or Buddhist, or Western-attendance religions...
are not the Answer. Jesus is.
“Additive” not “Subtractive.” Where you are at.
Culture, ethnicity, Western or Eastern, religious heritage. Or previously laughing, crying, or numbing ourselves to all of that.
There is no spoon. There is nothing for us to “start.”
The Second Adam already did that,
“before there was time.”
And now He wishes to scale His Eternity-Life, Zoe, that always was and always will be...
IN the “few who will find it” and who dare to “build on the Rock instead of the sand” in...
202 countries. Right now: Greater Things!
Let go of subservience... to hate and unforgiveness, to fear and lusts, to blackmail and false promises, and to placebo and temporary “comforting” vices.
“Moth and rust destroy. Thieves break in and steal.”
They are holding you back and me back. Let’s let go.
