Religious Compliance is NO Better than Overt Rebellion

8/12/2024

speech bubble representing person 1 talking Bumper Sticker of the Day:

“Religious Compliance is NO Better than Overt Rebellion”

(Religious compliance is easier to stomach—but IT SHOULDN’T be! Be careful with this. Giving someone a pass because they’re “nice” and “no trouble” is as repulsive as giving a pass to a murderer or rapist or liar or thief. SEE that, Know that, Live that!)

Tomorrow’s Bumper Sticker:

Why does God Do things or arrange things or connect things or people, or succeed or fail things?

The Eleventh Hour Worker is the Choice of God for His own reasons. Notice that He made NO effort to reveal His REASON to the other workers He had employed. “He’s had a rough life.” “She needs attention.” “He needs the attention and experience for something else I have planned.” “I’m intentionally making others jealous so they can Change.” Etc? No.

It wasn’t their business, at least as long as they had that attitude of “unfair!” as if they were gods rather than “unprofitable servants.” He “tells His FRIENDS His Secrets.”

In the meantime,

Our Bumper Sticker is...

“Not ‘Why?!’—just for Love COMPLY!”

speech bubble representing person 2 talking Just to clarify, that last bumper sticker is a Faith-filled compliance to our Father and Master, not the religious compliance of the first sticker, correct?

speech bubble representing person 1 talkingYes ;)

Religious “Comp-liars”
1) go-along-to-get-along—to get stuff, or
2) comply out of fear of hell or fear of loss,
3) comply out of habit or culture or copying.
