See to It, Brothers... Make Sure, Sisters

To a few: Let’s think about a particular task that Jesus has asked us to do: “See to it brothers that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God” (Heb. 3:12). That’s not simply a call to make sure that no one is living in rebellion. That’s a call to make sure everyone is interacting with, trusting, obeying, loving, and serving the Living Jesus. In short, it’s a call to make sure that everyone has Faith. Make sure brothers, that all the believers in your sphere of influence are trusting and relating to the living Jesus as a passionate way of life. Make sure they are abandoned to Jesus; the Jesus who is alive, not the historical Jesus. Make sure they trust Him completely. See to it brothers. Are you making sure?
