Step Up. “Give Me This Mountain.”

“Now therefore GIVE ME THIS MOUNTAIN.”

What is your first instinct when “a giant comes calling your name“ in life? Shrink back? Be fearful? Be “confused”?

Or step up, knowing always “The battle is the Lord’s.”

Step up.

I can say this, for sure, from my recent giant encounter, with the “ultimate” human price pounding on the door:

The ability to fearlessly “step up” to a giant who is aggressively calling out your name, as David or Caleb did… Will be determined by what you do with your days and nights when the giant is not obvious.

If you are one who will write Psalms to the Father Son and Spirit, from the heart all day and when you awake, then the cruelest giants are just a pile of dust when they show up.

As Martin Luther said,

“Oh. It’s only you.”

Step up.
