Suffering: Optimism, Despair, OR...

Most folks typically respond to difficulties in one or two ways: pretending optimism - "it'll all be ok" - OR moaning like Eeyore - "oh no, here we go again." Those with spiritual eyes have a third option: COOPERATING with God. God is in control! Sometimes He allows hard things to happen in order to wake people up, to prepare His People, to shape them more into the image of His Son...Always to accomplish HIS purposes. The enemy can't even lift a pinky without God's permission. So turn to God, stay soft, and don't demand your situation to change. Trust that He works things together for good...but let HIM define "good"!
