That We All Might Know

Another simple yet fresh nugget for me today… “Then the LORD said to Moses, ‘Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his officials so that I may perform these miraculous signs of mine among them that you may tell your children and grandchildren how I dealt harshly with the Egyptians and how I performed my signs among them, and that you may know that I am the LORD’” (Exo. 10:1-2). God allows and even designs IMPOSSIBLE situations so that He might reveal Himself in miraculous ways that we might KNOW He is the LORD Almighty. When I read this I was reminded of Abraham and Sarah and how it was so far beyond the realm of possibility that they could bear a child. He wants it to be sooooo clear to us that it is Him alone. Joseph goes from a prisoner slave to second in the whole kingdom of Egypt in five minutes. How can it be? Because He is totally sovereign and loves to display Himself in the most difficult of situations. Oh the beauty, goodness and faithfulness of I AM!! He deserves our trust and worship. And, remember He wants us to tell our children and grandchildren and… Love, D
